Primary school is an important chapter in a child's education. It comprises Classes I to V at St. Mary's School. A student should be 6+ in age to seek admission in Class I.
At the primary level, St. Mary's main aim is to give students a strong grasp of the English language, the mother tongue and Mathematics. Students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities and community involvement programmes.
Foundations for life
At this level the school provides students with a basic understanding of various subjects as well as the skills they will use throughout their lives. The school also provides fundamental skills that will be the foundation for the rest of their academic career.
Learning that feels like joy
Children indulge in multifarious activities throughout the year — Art Competitions, Annual Days, Grandparents Day, Magic Shows, Class Presentations. Learning is made fun by including various games related to the curriculum in classroom teaching; such activities develop the mind and thinking ability of children. Computers are introduced gently through games and child-friendly software.
